Display Manager

Throughout Divrsion, we utilize several displays to share information with our customers. These displays are powered by Raspberry Pi's running a headless version of Chromium. The benefit of this is that we can quickly spin up new displays, but we also don't have to worry about code on each display. We point the startup script to a specific URL (obviously tucked safely behind an API key), and we're off.

Currently, this system supports the following displays (having been redone for 2022):

• Menu board (also plays our in-store training video for virtual reality)

• Calendar

• Leader boards

We also can control those displays through a simple control panel. The control panel uses Pusher behind the scenes to refresh specific displays without restarting the whole Raspberry Pi, control the training video from another device, etc.
